Copper climbs to 3-week high on upbeat U.S. data

Copper prices rose to a three-week high on Tuesday after robust manufacturing data from the United States boosted optimism about the pace of growth in the world's largest economy.
Three-month copper on the London Metal Exchange (LME) rose to a session high of $7,719.50 a tonne, its highest level in three weeks, up from the previous session's close of $7,600 a tonne.
The pace of growth in the U.S. manufacturing sector accelerated in December, its best month since June, according to an industry report released on Tuesday
