U S Durable goods orders probably to increase

In July, US durable goods orders are forecast to increase for a third consecutive month. In June, the durables rose by 1.3% M/M but this was mainly due to strong transportation orders. For July, the consensus is looking for a strong 2.5% M/M increase in the headline figure boosted by aircraft orders. Durable goods orders excluding transportation are expected to have risen by a more moderate 0.5% M/M after falling by 1.4% M/M in June.

The U S Census Bureau scheduled to release the data at 6pm IST  today.
