US working gas in storage rose to 3,261bn cu ft in the week ending 10 August,
The US Energy Information Administration says this represents a net increase of 20bn cu ft from the previous week.
Stocks were 442bn cu ft higher than last year at this time and 363bn cu ft above the five-year average of 2,898bn cu ft.
In the East Region, stocks were 118bn cu ft above the five-year average following net injections of 29bn cu ft.
Stocks in the Producing Region were 174bn cu ft above the five-year average of 930bn cu ft after a net withdrawal of 4bn cu ft.
Stocks in the West Region were 71bn cu ft above the five-year average after a net drawdown of 5bn cu ft.
At 3,261bn cu ft, total working gas is above the five-year historical range.
