NSEL(National Spot Exchange) announced that Waiver of Transaction Charges and making charges on e-Gold, e-Silver and e-Platinum on the auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya.Transaction charges and making charges pertaining to physical conversion of demat units shall be waived off by the exchange as per details.
According to that,there would be no Transaction charges for all transactions of e-Gold, e-Silver and e-Platinum made on 13th May, 2013.
Clients intending to take delivery of their physical metal on account of conversion from demat
units on the auspicious day of Akshaya Tritiya, the following points are noteworthy:
1) Making charges on all denominations of Gold, Silver cut bars and Platinum would be zero across all
the delivery centers.
2) Such Surrender Request Forms (SRF) must be received, complete in all respect on or before
Saturday, 4th May 2013.
3) “Akshaya Tritiya Delivery” must be mentioned on the top of the form or else making charges
would be applicable to such SRFs. The metal towards such delivery would NOT be made available
to the client before Akshaya Tritiya i.e. 13th May 2013.
